Hi, I'm Juliana — a Brazilian hairstylist with over 15 years of experience specializing in natural curly hair. My journey started at 19 in my aunt Leir’s salon in Ipatinga, Minas Gerais. That space sparked a lifelong love for the beauty of texture, connection, and transformation.

After co-founding a successful salon in Brazil that focused on uplifting women with curls, I moved to Somerville to create something close to my heart: The Curly House. Here, I combine professional technique with heartfelt care, offering clients — from little ones to adults — a space to embrace, understand, and love their curls. For me, caring for curls isn’t just about hair — it’s about identity, confidence, and community.
